I work at Amazon. I interned on ECS, then came back as a new grad and spent my first year in Fulfillment Optimization, building the services that make fulfillment and delivery cheaper for Amazon and faster for customers.

I got to work with a lot of talented people there, but it felt like time for a change. I recently moved to Alexa, where my team owns the services behind audio playback. It's my first time working on something directly customer facing, and it comes with its own set of challenges.

Outside of work, I shoot film. I learned early that time with the people you love is precious, and I'm glad I've been able to capture some of those moments on camera.

I also garden (the dahlias are on the film page), rock climb (see Chalk) and bake sourdough. Every day I do the NYT crosswords (mini, midi and regular) and play at least one game against a chess bot, so I can win my family's annual Christmas chess tournament.
